The Vision of the Almond Tree

“A business is like a tree. It starts with a vision, which is the seed. If the vision is firmly planted in your mind and cultivated, the roots will grow deep and manifest into reality. In time, it will grow to its full potential, with branches that yield a perpetual harvest.”

– Talon Kuhns

Aerik Talon Kuhns, CEO & Founder of ATK Ventures was previously a founding partner of another successful M&A firm. That firm focused on selling companies that were already optimized to be sold.

Realizing that only about twenty percent of companies are optimized and ready for the market, Talon had the vision of starting an M&A firm that had the capability of helping business owners prepare their company for an exit.

One fateful Sunday, Talon and his wife Lisa attended a Church that they had never been to before. The guest speaker read Jerimiah 1:11-12, and then went “off-script”, and said something to the effect of, “God is speaking to me right now, and this message is for someone in this audience. God has given you a vision, and He will bring it to pass.” Talon and Lisa looked at each other and instantly knew that message was intended for them. That confirmation marked the beginning of ATK Ventures.

Today, ATK Ventures operates with the primary focus of representing business owners that are ready to exit. We also offer buy-side representation for both financial and strategic buyers looking to acquire companies.

Additionally, with the ATK Entrepreneurs Advisory Board, we have the ability to help business owners fast track the optimization of their company so that it can be sold for maximum value.

ATK Ventures is a marketplace ministry as well as an M&A advisory firm. Our vision is to advance the Kingdom and change lives and our mission is to align with our clients and deliver results.

11 The word of the Lord came to me: “What do you see, Jeremiah?”
“I see the branch of an almond tree,” I replied.
12 The Lord said to me, “You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled.”
